Championing Change with Men of Valor

In April, Chroma Energy partnered with Men of Valor by sponsoring a table at their annual fundraising breakfast in Knoxville. This event plays a critical role in supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of men involved in the criminal justice system.

Men of Valor is dedicated to helping these individuals redefine their lives through the foundational principles of faith, providing a pathway to reintegrate into society with dignity and purpose. The services offered by Men of Valor, such as mentoring, job preparedness, and financial stewardship education, are crucial in breaking the cycle of recidivism. Impressively, graduates of the program have a recidivism rate of less than 15%, markedly improving public safety and reducing correctional costs.

The team was honored to hear about the profound changes in the lives of these men—changes that ripple through their families and communities, fostering a safer and more inclusive society. It is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together to support those in need of a second chance.

Supporting Sertoma: A Home for Purpose and Promise

Everyone deserves the opportunity to lead a fulfilling life. This belief is at the heart of our involvement with Sertoma, a program dedicated to adults with intellectual disabilities. Sertoma’s mission resonates deeply with our corporate ethos—creating a nurturing environment where individuals can thrive through work, relationships, and the security of a supportive community.

The program provides these adults with a home where they can find rest, comfort, and the dignity of living a life filled with purpose and promise. Chroma’s team volunteered at Sertoma’s annual Christmas party last year, and is proud to support a program that facilitates satisfying work and meaningful relationships for these individuals.
